COVID-19 Malware?

Attackers are using the fears and curiosities of COVID-19 Coronavirus to get people to click or visit web sites.

One example that is being seen is attackers have put up a web site that shows an interactive map of the spread of the virus. This web site is loaded with malware.

There are also a lot of phishing emails going around with links to malicious sites.

Be aware of this and do not fall for clicking any links in emails (or on facebook). If your curiosity gets the best of you, navigate to trusted news source for your information and never rely on quick links in emails.

It is often hard to stop and think with the level of concern/curiosity that we have, but please take a moment to do so when going online for email or social media. Also educate your children and spouses of these dangers.
