Mainstream Technologies Creates Levelized Billing Contracts for Managed IT Services

No more financial surprises for customers

(Little Rock, AR) – June 20, 2018 – In response to its customers, Mainstream Technologies today announced that it has converted all managed services agreements to all-inclusive levelized billing service contracts that vary only when the number of end-user devices or products change (+/-). The new service agreements, designed to be simple and easy to understand, should provide better, more timely customer service. Additionally, customer cash flow concerns have been addressed with pricing transparency and budgeting stability, while empowering IT to do what’s best for the business.

According to Mark McClelland, Vice-President of Information Technology, “Conventional contracts created additional support costs, and confusion in distinguishing between covered services and hourly, billable services. Our goal was to create a levelized billing offering that aligns pricing with the number of humans it supports while removing the nickel and dime monthly volatility. Costs are in line with their employee headcount, so if they reduce human resources, their monthly billing will adjust accordingly.  Our customers clearly understand what is excluded in their service agreements as we have simplified that list.”
