Mainstream Technologies’ Customer Summit on Cyber Security

New services coming soon to mitigate threats

(Little Rock, AR) – July 26, 2018 – Mainstream Technologies recently conducted a customer summit in Little Rock to address cloud adoption as well as current and future preemptive tactics against cyber attacks targeting small businesses. According to Mark McClelland, Vice-President of Information Technology at Mainstream: “Currently, 60% of small businesses that experience a cyber attack go out of business in six months. Cybercrime is pervasive, relentless and always changing, which requires constant vigilance and proactive, up-to-date IT solutions. Summit participants were especially interested in our new, additional cybersecurity services to be launched in the near term.”

One summit participant, Brian Marsh of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, was quoted as saying: “Nonprofits, in particular, are considered easy targets. And since we’re retail and a nonprofit, we have a double bullseye on us.” Marsh added that the sustainability and security of Goodwill’s technology are critical in fulfilling their mission of changing lives through education, training and employment, all of which is funded by donations through their resale shops.
